Briefed to help Victoria State Government consult Victoria on its fossil gas substitution roadmap, Matter designed a visual identity and explanatory graphics that clearly and engagingly conveyed the state's current status on gas usage, its transition pathway, and challenges.

Mapping the journey to Plan Melbourne
All great strategies have a consultation draft. Matter were tasked with mapping the journey Plan Melbourne 2017–2050 from its predecessor, Plan Melbourne 2014, and demonstrating the principles that would be carried over. Each principle could also be unlocked from the map and explored in depth.

Briefed by Victoria State Government to engage sector stakeholders and the community to have their say on hydrogen energy, Matter developed a visual identity that conveyed renewable and technology at a glance, as well as a narrative and principles to guide audiences intuitively

Briefed to communicate Melbourne’s urban planning strategy to 2050, Matter designed the Plan Melbourne brand and policy suite for Victoria State Government from community and stakeholder consultation, to policy launch and implementation

Briefed to highlight Victoria State Government’s new water policy, Matter facilitated a series of workshops – arriving at the proposition of collaboration between agencies for better community outcomes – then directed a statewide photoshoot and designed policy collateral to demonstrate it
