Briefed to help Victoria State Government consult Victoria on its fossil gas substitution roadmap, Matter designed a visual identity and explanatory graphics that clearly and engagingly conveyed the state's current status on gas usage, its transition pathway, and challenges.

Matter were briefed to help Water Services Association of Australia lead the water sector on its progression from water for sanitation to liveability to thriving communities. Matter designed and illustrated an at-a-glance illustration of WSAA’s vision, spelled out its principal values, and reinforced it through the consistent design of collateral such as a policy publication.

Matter were briefed to help Isle Utilities convey the advantages of their diverse suite of benchmarking programs to establish client relationships that solve the now, to be nurtured into trusted partnerships. Matter developed positioning, propositions, copywriting, and design across a range of media.

Matter were briefed to help Victoria State Government attract investment and activity with Victorian Renewable Hydrogen Industry Development Plan, a prospectus on Victoria’s unique and diverse advantages for the hydrogen and adjacent industries
Closing the water gap for remote communities
Matter’s design for WSAA clearly conveyed the stark facts on clean water for remote First Nations communities, along with substantial supporting evidence and insight, with an innovative tiered structure that accommodated the needs of both media and policy teams

Mapping the journey to Plan Melbourne
All great strategies have a consultation draft. Matter were tasked with mapping the journey Plan Melbourne 2017–2050 from its predecessor, Plan Melbourne 2014, and demonstrating the principles that would be carried over. Each principle could also be unlocked from the map and explored in depth.

Briefed by Victoria State Government to engage sector stakeholders and the community to have their say on hydrogen energy, Matter developed a visual identity that conveyed renewable and technology at a glance, as well as a narrative and principles to guide audiences intuitively

Briefed by Education and Training Victoria to convey the impact of mental health on students throughout their lives, Matter developed a series of clear, simple statistic-based factoids for team members to use as compelling proof points

Briefed by Victoria’s Surveyor General to convey their achievements and culture of innovation, Matter developed a series of infographic-style factoids with an emphasis on technological advancement delivering community outcomes
